Who We Are 

Much like a modern restaurant, we exist to give classics new life. Everything handcrafted. By us. In house. Each ingredient is single-origin and sourced directly from gardens we have long standing relationships with and are employing sustainable practices. We craft our blends in tiny batches at our tea atelier in Portland, Oregon. Because a tea’s character varies from harvest to harvest, we never rely on recipes. Instead, we formulate our blends based on seasonal flavors to serve you the most delicious cup every time. In fact – in the spirit of total transparency – we publish a batch number on each carton of tea we produce so you can trace it back to origin.

    From a full-service loose tea or a sachet program, we are committed to always serving your customers teas unlike any you have tasted. Our beautiful relaxed-fit sachets are plant-based and biodegradable, and do not contain nylon or PET, making them both safe for the environment and your customer.

    Our esteemed teamakers are here to support you and your staff with personalized trainings and educational tools, drawing your staff into the illustrious world of Smith and tea so they are best equipped to speak with authority and sell an exceptional experience to your customers.  

  3. Merchandise & Tools

    In addition to our compelling merchandising and serve ware, we work with you to develop custom menus and other collateral that suits your unique needs.
