What happens when two actresses and four teamakers get together? Something magical. We are excited to introduce you to Nancy And Beth, our latest herbal infusion crafted with actresses Megan Mullally (Will & Grace) and Stephanie Hunt (Friday Night Lights) who both star in the incredibly talented musical duo Nancy And Beth.
Like us, Megan and Stephanie are avid tea drinkers. They reached out looking for their dream caffeine-free blend that was not only soothing to sip on, but also celebrated each of their personalities. Something fun and feminine, with floral notes and a hint of spice.
What followed over the course of two months were conversations about their likes and dislikes, favorite foods and beverages, favorite scents and more. One of our most memorable chats with them actually took place in a cab as they were enroute to a late-night taping in New York City. We call that dedication.
The end result is something exceptional. A beautiful blend of pink and red rose petals, licorice, ginger, osmanthus, cyani and chamomile, which was certified “downright ambrosial” by Megan and Stephanie. Pink rose petals: Not only are pink rose petals visually stunning, they are soft and have a delicate floral note with undercurrents of white pepper.
Red rose petals: We like to think of red rose petals as the saucier cousin to pink rose petals since they have a stronger presence in smell and taste.
Licorice root: Sourced from China, licorice root has a long lingering sweetness that builds out the center for other ingredients to lay on top of.
Ginger: After the plant flowers and the leaves die off, the roots are dug, washed, peeled and sun dried. Ginger’s spicy-sweet flavor adds spark and complexity to Nancy And Beth.
Osmanthus flower: Osmanthus helps to blend the fruity and floral notes together in a round and creamy way.
Cyani petals: This flowering plant adds a visual pop of blue as bright as a sapphire.
Chamomile petals: Sourced from Egypt, the Nile provides ample water and fertile soil for the world’s finest tasting chamomile blossoms. With a soothing characteristic and a subtle taste and aroma that is apple-like and toasty.
