Five Teas for Fall

The soft sound of leaves falling and the cool, crisp air. It’s officially hot tea season--our favorite time of the year. To help you re-stock your pantry with interesting selections, we asked our tea department for their favorite Fall steepings.

Fall Teas

2nd Flush Darjeeling
Soft peachy notes of summer meld into the toastier and caramel-colored elements of fall. It’s crisp and refreshing for a black tea and carries with it aromatics that create a dreamy, cozy feeling perfect for fall.

Bai Hao Oolong
The cable-knit sweater of our lineup. It’s friendly and autumnal. Juicy but not overly sweet. Rosey, refined, and round in the cup. It pairs perfectly with that favorite ceramic mug at the back of your cabinet that was gently estranged from your grasp during the summer months.

Portland Breakfast
Woody and earthy with a lack of astringency commonly found in breakfast teas. The original inspiration behind this blend was a misty morning walk in Forest Park as the autumn leaves start to gather on the path. One sip and you’ll find yourself nostalgic for knitted sweaters and hand-carved pumpkin’s glowing in the light of the harvest moon.

Red Nectar
With its natural orchard fruit flavor, Red Nectar has an autumn like quality that makes you feel as if you are in a grove of gnarled trees, old as the soul beneath their roots.

Peppermint Leaves
The world's best peppermint comes from the Pacific Northwest. It infuses a full, creamy flavor with distinct chocolate notes and an intense finish.
